Experienced Chattanooga Built-to-Rent Industry Leader Marcus Lyons
Based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Marcus Lyons is a property developer who has headed numerous build-to-rent and single-family projects and several multi-family properties. In 2009, Marcus Lyons established Lyons Group, Inc., a full-service apartment brokerage firm through which he has developed multi-family communities in Tennessee and Georgia. As the firm’s chief executive officer, he has accrued $100 million in lease-up construction, development, and planning.
In 2015, Marcus Lyons expanded upon his work in the multi-family industry by joining Berkadia, an apartment broker serving clients in Tennessee. Over six years as the senior director, he generated more than $700 million in multi-family sales. Since 2024, he has worked as a principal at LFG Homes, LLC. A leader in the build-to-rent industry, he has closed in excess of $850 million in transactions during his career.
Marcus Lyons attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga as a finance student. He maintains membership with several professional organizations, including the Home Builders Association of Tennessee, the National Association of Home Builders, and the National Apartment Association.
